1. Pick a side to hole and stay there, preferably a place where the distance between the flag and the defender is small. Or, fake a couple of holes to get the defender to shrink.

2. Keep your speed high. You know where the hole is going to be and it will be obvious when to go in: after the defender passes.

3. Don't circle the base. You need to keep your speed up for a quick break.

4. Defense will respawn, of course.

1. After a successful hole, you need to protect the base after respawning. Don't die!

2. Time to control their flag space. Get ready to pass the flag to the basecamper.

3. This is why you need speed. You have to get that flag and retun home pronto! Get ready for a lot of pressure.

4. Defense has to watch out for the speed hole. This shouldn't be a problem if our base is protected and their flag space is occupied. They won't have extra players to hole and get their flag back.

If the flag is captured and both attackers are still alive, the base-camper should respawn, suicide, then protect our base with a fast, straight trail.

The straight-style base protection is preferred in all cases because it's stops the enemy from besieging both you and the base, which could cost us valuable seconds on a flag return.
