Teams for this tournament are going to be decided by a draft amongst the Captains. On Saturday, the day before the tournament, Captains (and only Captains) will meet at a predetermined time to "draft" their teams. To draft teams, the Captains will all join the IRC room #armagetron.tourneys via an IRC client or the [http://www.hashpickup.net/ web IRC client]. After all Captains are present in the IRC chat room, they will be presented with a Google Docs Spreadsheet. This spreadsheet will have a full list of players and substitutes, and each Captain will be asked to drag & drop the player of their choice to their team when it is their turn. Prior to the draft, each Captain will be assigned a draft number which determines the choosing order (More information can be found on the [[FFA/FAQ|FAQ]] page). After each player has been chosen, Captains will be asked to choose a substitute. After all players and substitutes have been picked to a team, the teams will be posted to the wiki and brackets will be made. Fortress-For-All

What the FFA is

The Fortress-for-All tournament is a Fortress competition inspired by the Fortress Brawl, Ladle, Spoon, and "pickup" games. The idea is to get players who don't always have the opportunity or the will to play in the Ladle to experience the intensity and excitement that comes along with it. Frequently, in the Ladle, a team will sign up with well over 6 players (the minimum required to have a team) and only 6-7 of those players actually get to play. The others are forced to spectate with stars in their eyes wondering when they'll be able to play on the big stage. Well, that's what the point of this tournament is. Anyone, whether you have a clan/Ladle team or not, is encouraged to participate in this tournament. There are *NO* previous requirements to sign up.
