The Winter 2021 season of the AFL will be a short, mini-season to pilot league structure, 5v5, and limited respawn setting. The original AFL also deviated from then-standard Ladle settings, and the Fall 2007 AFL season had 6v6 even though Ladles would be 8v8 for another year. Fittingly, AFL21 will follow in this tradition of non-Ladle settings.
